Maxine’s September Roundup: Wild Running, Awards Finals, and the Patter of Tiny Feet!

Another fast and crazy month has gone by - a month filled with so much uncertainty. Not sure about you guys but I always seem to be on the government website checking what I can do, with whom, and where I can do it. Some think I should err on the side of caution and never leave the house, and never go into the office... wishful thinking, Darcy!

If you've seen my latest blog, you will know that last month I experienced the most fantastic weekend wild running in Dartmoor and on the coast. It completely recentered me. I hadn't realised how much in need of a break I was! 2020 is fast becoming a long year. You can read the full blog about my wild running weekend here.

Darcy has been busy working on the Absolute Collagen Christmas gifting range! So exciting! We will have an AC luxury cracker and an AC collagen/serum gift set, both of which will be available from the end of October - don't worry, our Absoluters will be first to know. And in the meantime, here’s a little teaser for you!

As you all know, it was my mission to bring Absolute Collagen to as many people as possible, and everything I do I feel I do with every single one of our Absoluters alongside me - I do it for us! So imagine the excitement when I found out I was a finalist in the 2020 Best Business Women Awards for two categories: Made in the UK & Most Inspiring Business Woman. It’s always been about the results, not the accolades or the glamour, but it feels amazing to be in the finals of these awards among some fantastic, inspirational business women!

With the launch of many collagen sachets entering the market, I want to fully assure you that our Absoluters are, and always will be, at the forefront of everything we do. Many of these new collagen supplements have other active ingredients added to them, so I wanted to explain why we keep Absolute Collagen absolute. In short, when it comes to adding other active ingredients to our product, this is simply not an option for Absolute Collagen at this stage, as there is a lack of evidence surrounding the long term effects of ingesting another active ingredient alongside collagen.

And last but not least... WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!! And the entirety of Team AC could not be more excited for the patter of tiny feet. Hannah, our fabulous Digital Content Manager, is due in February, meaning this little superstar will be our youngest Absoluter! We can’t wait!
