Maxine's November Roundup: New products, CBI dinner, and a trip to London!

Wow what a month November has been!

Absolute Collagen remains to be one of the UK’s fastest growing direct to consumer brands which excites us beyond belief. The reviews continue to come in daily from our wonderful customers. All this excitement has everyone in the office doing their #Absoluter dance… watch this space!

What's new at Absolute Collagen:

Listening to our customers is ALWAYS at the centre of everything we do, which is why we are beavering away in the lab creating our vegan supplement. We can’t give too much away at the moment, but for all you patient vegans and vegetarians we are nearly there!

In more exciting news, we have finally signed off the formula for our face serum, which works alongside our supplement. The clinical trials are outstanding and we’re hoping this will be available early 2020.

What's I've been up to:

Not only has Absolute Collagen HQ been crazy, but I’ve been busy, too.

I was bowled over to have been invited as a guest speaker at the CBI dinner at St Phillips Cathedral in Birmingham. I sat on the panel alongside some incredibly significant people such as John Murray Allan, CBE chairman of Tesco.

As a woman who started her business in her kitchen at 50, with no previous business experience, being respected and recognised by this industry was a remarkable moment not only for me and my team, but for every woman out there who has not been believed in.

I was also invited by a publisher to discuss the possibility of a book, as well as interviewed by the Birmingham Mail and recorded a podcast for The PHA Group.

Midway through November we started our Christmas shopping! We spent a much-needed family weekend in London. Most of you know, both my girls work at Absolute Collagen. Darcy sources all the ingredients and ensures you don’t run out of collagen and Margot is in charge of shipping and handles customer queries, so to regroup as a family, have some good food and lots of laughs was a great way for us to rewind.

Even Rosie came! Some of you may hear Rosie when you call the office. She’s our much loved family Lurcher who loves to travel with us. So much so that I am actually considering taking her to all my meetings and events, though I’m not sure how Rosie would have gone down at the CBI dinner!

Here’s to a fab December and remember the most precious gift you can give is the gift of time. Arrange to spend time with those you love 💛
