Finalist In The Woman & Home Amazing Women Awards 2020

We’re extremely proud to announce that our fabulous founder Maxine has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Woman & Home Amazing Women Awards 2020!

The awards honour brilliant women aged 50 and over who are succeeding, defying expectations, and making a difference in all areas of life. If you ask us, no one embodies that better than our very own Collagen Queen!

As one of three finalists, Maxine is a contender for the ‘Innovative Entrepreneur’ crown in the Brand New Directions category. Should Maxine win, she’ll be the star of a Woman & Home photoshoot in November’s issue of the magazine. We may be slightly biased but we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving!

As many of you will know, Maxine’s journey from stay at home mum to CEO has been nothing short of inspirational. For 25 years Maxine focused solely on the role of mum to her two daughters Darcy and Margot. Little did she know the exciting next chapter that awaited her.

In 2017, from the humble beginnings of her kitchen, Absolute Collagen was born! In the three years since, Absolute Collagen has bloomed into a profitable business in the UK and Ireland and is soon expected to launch in the USA. What’s more, Maxine is now a seasoned professional speaker. She regularly gives talks about entrepreneurship at high profile events and dedicates her time to sharing business advice with other women.

Absolute Collagen, and Maxine, have certainly come a long way in a very short time. It’s a testament to Maxine’s hard work and resilience. That said, Absolute Collagen truly wouldn’t be what it is today without YOU - our fantastic army of #Absoluters! For that, we thank you!
